Welcome to our Outreach Weekly News for the Third Sunday of Advent.
CONFIRMATION
Please pray for the 9 young people from our two parishes who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation next Sunday 20th December. We thank them for their commitment and perseverance. This is our third date since the preparation programme began as the two lockdowns brought two cancellations. The Bishop has given special permission for parish priests to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation during this year and Fr Keith will confirm our candidates next Sunday in both churches. Please note that Mass in St Peter’s next Sunday will have much less capacity for bookings. It would be helpful if those who can attend Mass on Wednesday could do so to allow families and those at work during the week to book places. Thank You.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Please pray for the 16 children who will receive First Holy Communion next Saturday in Corpus Christi Church – and for their families.
BOOKING FOR MASS
Corpus Christi :Mass on Sundays at 9.15am (doors open 9.00am) and Thursday at 10.00am (doors open 9.45am). It is essential to book:
07434 661314 on Mondays 10.30am – 12noon or Thursdays 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
St. Peter’s:Mass on Sunday at 11.00am (church opens 10.45am) and Wednesday at 10.00am (church opens 9.45). It is essential to book:
07434 646950 on Mondays 6.00pm-8.00pm or Thursdays 2.00pm-4.00pm.
CHRISTMAS MASSES
Corpus Christi Vigil Mass 8.00pm and Christmas Day 9.00am.
St Peter’s Vigil Mass 6.00pm and Christmas Day 10.30am.

FOOD CO-OP
Food donations can be left at Corpus Christi Church Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 10.00 – 12.00 or St Peter’s presbytery back door at any time in the container provided. Please note the new list of items requested for this week:

CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2020
The final opportunity to drop off donations for the Christmas Appeal is this weekend at Corpus Christi and St Peter’s. Saturday 12th December 2pm – 4pm and Sunday 13th December 10am – 12pm. Raffle Prizes can be collected on Sunday morning from St Peter’s Church Hall. See the attached sheet for list of prize-winners.
